Glycine Info!
Glycine is the smallest
amino acid. It serves as the basic nitrogen pool for the
manufacture of the nonessential amino acids and is an important
element in the structure of red blood cells. It is often used
clinically in controlling depression. Creatine, an important source of muscular
energy, requires glycine in the synthesis process, as do glucose
and RNA and DNA. The most noticeable deficiency symptom is a loss
of energy.
